A young man who had a report of being missing was located half buried in a site of Mazatenango, the authorities reported.
This is Randy Fernando Escobar, 25 years old. His family had reported him missing to the National Civil Police (PNC). They also gave notice of the search for him on social networks. However, 9 days after the report, authorities reported the location of him semi-buried on land in Mazatenango.

According to the authorities’ report, the victim had left zone 4 of the mentioned city since last Monday, March 17, heading for the city of Retalhuleu, where he was supposed to meet a friend, however, that meeting never happened. it was given
The motorcycle that the victim was driving was found abandoned in front of a school in Mazatenango, says the PNC report, which forced them to continue searching the nearby area, it was until they saw white tennis shoes and to their bad surprise it was Randy’s body.

MP prosecutors work in the area where they located the missing young man in Mazate
Prosecutors from the Public Ministry had to use adequate equipment to be able to unearth the remains of the victim. The body already showed a certain degree of decomposition. After several hours of work, they transferred the remains to the INACIF morgue in zone 1.
On social networks, the death of the young man who was described as a good person, a good friend, was mourned. Likewise, relatives ask that justice be done and that those responsible for the murder be captured, hoping that the case does not go unpunished.
