A innovative technology, that provides a complementary contribution to base fertilization and synchronously works with the demand for nitrogen, was presented in the city of Rio Cuarto, province of Cordoba. Stoller Argentina unveiled the benefits of an innovative technology in nitrogen fertilization: BlueNa nitrogen-fixing bacteria applied foliarly, recommended for use in early stages.
“BlueN is the biological fertilizer that raises more expectations in the sector, due to its enormous power to colonize the plant and fix atmospheric nitrogen, generating efficiency in fertilization costs,” highlighted Rafael OlivellaProduct Manager at Stoller Argentina. They said it is capable of supplying the crop with an average of 30 kilos more nitrogen per hectare throughout its entire cycle.
“This is something we cannot achieve with traditional fertilization, where nitrogen is normally applied at one or two fixed times within the cycle,” he added.
