Just a year ago, dream holidays that the English businessman Matthew Gibbard had imagined became a death trap. In broad daylight, when he arrived at the Faena hotel with his family, motorcycle jets tried to rob him and shot him dead.
The Gibbards had chosen the country to rest for a few days. So Matthew came with his mom, his wife, his stepson, and his girlfriend. Upon reaching Ezeiza, the criminals would have marked them and followed them to Puerto Madero. It was there that, wanting to assault him, they murdered him.
Gibbard, 50, lived in the town of Lowick, in the East Northamptonshire district of North London. From there he ran Tingdene Homes Limited, a family business opened on October 6, 1971, according to the report from the official British business register, dedicated to building residences in various British cities for people over 45 years of age. This company had a turnover of £ 20 million in 2018.
