Several people were sharing the arrival of the year 2023, when suddenly an argument between neighbors ended the meeting in the Colón de Naguanagua neighborhood in the state of Carabobo, leaving a lawyer murdered with a knife.
Those present had been sharing for a while when they started arguing. The lawyer, identified as José Rafael Ramírez, 53, apparently “won” the case and his opponent left the scene.
A few minutes later, the other man, who lives nearby, reportedly returned with a knife and the fight restarted until he stabbed Ramírez in the neck with a knife, a police source said. Seriously injured, the lawyer was taken to the Ciudad Hospitalaria Dr. Enrique Tejera (Chet) where he died. According to the police version, the alleged killer is identified, but on the run.
Ramírez is part of the red list with which he began this 2023. It was unofficially known that at least three homicides were recorded in Carabobo in the first 24 hours of this year. The events occurred in the municipalities of Naguanagua, Valencia and Carlos Arvelo.
