He was shot to death Fernando Ortiz known as the Chumo, group member of the group, Mulata Band in the municipality of Cotaxcla, in the state of Veracruz on Mexico.
The lifeless body was found on the La Tinaja-Cosamaloapan highway after criminals murdered him inside a transportation unit.

The member of the group of the Mexican regional music band, molded Band He was found in the passenger seat, with several bullet wounds, and according to local media nothing is known about the whereabouts of the driver who was driving the unit in which the famous one was traveling.
Elements of the Civil Force of the state of Veracruz, guarded the crime scene while experts from the Regional Prosecutor’s Office of the Boca del Río municipality learned of what happened.
The murder was discovered after a report to emergency services, so the authorities went to the scene of the crime to carry out the first investigations that showed that the group to which the musician belonged was returning home after a 15-year event in the Municipality of Land Blanca.
Until now, more details of the homicide are unknown but initially there is talk of an assault as a possible motive but it will be the authorities who carry out the investigations to try to clarify the murder of the musician.
In its social networks the musical group shared an image with a black bow as a symbol of mourning, to which its followers have reacted regretting what happened.
