They kidnapped and killed two Vallenatos in Arauca

Emiro Galvis Sanguino and Dionys José Sierra España, members of the United Pentecostal Church of Colombia and natives of the town of Valledupar, were found dead and in an advanced state of decomposition in a small town near Tame, Arauca.

The two workers agreed to travel to the area to negotiate tools, after discussions through digital platforms that turned into a real tragedy for their families.

Galvis Sanguino and Sierra España had moved to Yopal, Casanare, on November 16, under false promises, a fraudulent business that ended with kidnapping and subsequent murder.

“They were kidnapped and taken to a rural area, their families had to pay more than 100 million pesos for the ransom. Despite desperate efforts to bring them back, after eleven days of painful search, we found their bodies in a deplorable state,” said Senator Didier Lobo, who spoke before the plenary session of the Senate , denying this terrible murder.

He said that Emiro Galvis Sanguino and Dionys José Sierra España were humble and hardworking people who dreamed of a better future for their families. His life was brutally captured by the violence that affects the country, something that cannot be ignored.

“This crime is not only an attack against two innocent men; It is an attack against our society, against our values and against the peace we have longed for. We cannot allow freedom to be compromised. I am asking the Minister of Defense and the Minister of the Interior to respond to this situation. We cannot continue to send passive messages to those who specifically want to harm good citizens,” the spokesperson said.

Real phone numbers are used to contact the families and the bank accounts where the ransom was deposited. “It is imperative that this tragic event serves as a call to redouble protective measures in our communities, but also as a call to action for the government to tackle crime decisively. Peace and tranquility have been stolen in our country; “We are under constant siege of looting, cattle rustling and other crimes.”

The victims lived in the area of La Esperanza in Valledupar. It is expected that in the coming days the bodies will be transferred to this capital for the Christian burial.
