Each year, the heat pushes some Lyonnais to adopt extremely dangerous behavior.
This Monday afternoon, when the mercury was close to 37°C in Lyon, several young people had fun jumping into the waters of the Rhône, from the Guillotière bridge. The scene was filmed, so we can see the strong current carrying the swimmers as soon as they are submerged. The latter would be safe and sound, the firefighters were in any case not alerted to intervene.
A behavior obviously not to be reproduced given its dangerousness. Every year, cases of voluntary or involuntary falls are recorded by the emergency services, with regular dramatic outcomes.
