In order to bring feminine hygiene products to those who do not have access to them, Jóvenes en Movimiento Reynosa invited the population to donate sanitary napkins, menstrual cups or tampons through a call on social networks that will be open until 11 April.
According to its municipal delegate, Eduardo Cisneros, the products will be aimed at women and menstruating people with limited access to it, such as people with limited resources, women inmates in the Center for the Execution of Sanctions (CEDES) and on the streets.
“With these initiatives, what we want is to gradually promote the normalization of free access and the use of feminine hygiene products,” said Daniela Gómez, assistant delegate for the care of women at Jóvenes en Movimiento Reynosa.
He emphasized that the collection is part of a comprehensive project of awareness and support, despite the fact that the call closes on April 11, they hope to have the support of society to maintain it permanently.
To do this, they invited those interested in participating to send a message to the official Facebook page: Jóvenes en Movimiento Reynosa, since the goal is to collect a minimum of 500 products.
