Nuevo Casas Grandes– With the aim of enriching the cultural heritage with graphic and documentary material on the origins of Nuevo Casas Grandes, the municipal government, through the Department of Culture and Historical Archives, is inviting citizens to donate both photos and documents that represent a historical legacy.
The campaign aims to compile a compilation of historical material about Nuevo Casas Grandes that can be contributed by both residents and visitors who wish to donate the material, consisting of photos as well as brochures, books, magazines and even documents from educational institutions of its first generations, whose seniority is greater than 30 years.
In this sense, handwritten, typed or printed documents and even maps, plans, minutes or drawings that portray the time of those decades will be received, which will serve to increase the testimonial heritage of the society of Nuevo Casas Grandes.
Donations can be made at the offices of the Department of Culture and Historical Archives, in charge of Cynthia Acosta, on Avenida Constitución number 304 on the upper floor in front of the Municipal Presidency, where the office will be in charge of granting a certificate for the contribution.
The Office of Culture and Historical Archives commits itself to safeguarding this material, organizing it, preserving it and making it available for its dissemination and public consultation; the deadline for delivery is August 31.
