Los Mochis, Without.- Independent animal activists call on the population to participate in the “Croquetón: angels without voice 2023”event with which they search gather food to be able to serve the population of dogs and cats that they have managed to rescue from the streets and others that continue on public roads due to the lack of interest of the majority of people.
This event will take place this Saturday, December 16 in the Plaza 27 de Septiembre from 3:00 in the afternoon to 8:00 at nightwhere there will be snacks for sale, raffles, an artistic cast and several surprises for families who come to donate croquettes, medicines, clothes or blankets.

Juana Antonia Escalante Barrera, better known as Thony Moyte on social networks and spokesperson for the group of rescuers, explained at a press conference that The population of stray pets in the municipality increases every day due to the lack of interest of dog and cat owners in sterilizing them.
Likewise, the lack of awareness of some people who adopt pets and when faced with the responsibilities that their ownership entails at home, they abandon them on public roads.
In addition, he added that so far in 2023, animal cruelty has increased in Ahome and in the agencies of the Public Ministry of the Regional Vice Prosecutor’s Office in the northern zone, progress in the investigation folders is minimal.
“I was joined by several independent rescue companions, who like me are in the fight against animal abuse, about feeding stray dogs, those on the streets, and we came together with the plan of making this croquette to raise more food, I hope we surpass a great goal. The goal is whatever they want to donate to us, I ask for whatever, but if it were a ton of food it would be cool,” she said.
