They invite you to donate cleaning supplies for migrant women

TIJUANA, Baja California, November 28, 2023.- In search of supporting women who are in the city’s migrant shelters and within the framework of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, it will be held the “I take care of myself Bag” campaign, with which cleaning supplies will be donated, said the director of the Jugamos a Leer foundation, Manuela Cantú Mendívil.

He mentioned that there are around 34 shelters, where around 20 to 30 women are housed in each of them, who will be supported so that they have a better quality of life.

Citizens can support by donating new or in good condition bags, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, toothbrushes, feminine towels, wet towels, mirrors, soap and body cream, new underwear, as well as toilet paper.

The first delivery will take place on Saturday, December 16; The collection point is the State Human Rights Commission located on Insurgentes Boulevard Tercera Etapa del Río, in the Álamos neighborhood.
