The Ministry of Health of Michoacán (SSM) invites the public to come to give some life to the blood which will be held this Friday, September 13 at the Eva Sámano de López Children’s Hospital in Morelia.
The day starts at 8:30am in the hospital’s respiratory emergency area, where staff from the The State Blood Transfusion Center (CETS) will receive blood units from men and women aged 18 to 65, in good health and weighing more than 50 kilograms.
The blood collected will be used to help treat girls and boys with cancerinjured or with hemorrhages, requiring blood transfusion. No need to make an appointment, just arrive at the hospital before 2:00pm.
To donate you must go to fast for four hours, provide official photo identification, not consume alcoholic beverages or medications in the last 48 hours and in the case of women, do not be pregnant or breastfeeding chest
