Pony in a state of abandonment
As a result, the GRUPRONA agents located an equine, specifically a pony with a sorrel coat, which was cachexic and with extremely long front hooves. In addition, it only had one minimal amount of spoiled water in a bucket and little food placed in a bathtub that serves as a trough, in which there were sharp and pointed elements, as well as other objects that are observed around. Nor did the animal have a suitable place to shelter from the rain and the sun.
Given the situation of the equine, the local police proceeded to locate its owner, who was at his home and appeared at the place minutes later.
The pony was inspected by a veterinarian from the Municipal Zoosanitary Center, having not been assisted by a veterinarian for about 18 months. Later, after issuing veterinary report of the status of the animal, Local GRUPRONA police officers opened criminal proceedings for the alleged responsibility of a crime of animal abandonment, leaving the equine in deposit under the responsibility of its owner, who was warned of the obligation to improve its conditions and put it under veterinary supervision, situation which continues to be monitored by agents.

Likewise, at another point in the neighborhood, the agents located and recovered a young dog, a Belgian Malinois crossbreed, which presented a profound state of abandonment, with severe cachexia that even made it difficult for him to stand up, in addition to being tied with an iron chain around his neck by means of a padlock, only about 40 centimeters long, which prevented him from any type of mobility, and was also transferred to the Zoosanitary Center, from where, in turn, he was transferred to the Society for the Protection of Animals to do everything possible for their recovery, also continuing the open investigation to try to find out the property for the alleged responsibility of a crime of animal abuse.
Spanish fighting roosters
Similarly, agents of the GRUPRONA of the Local Police of Malaga located and intervened seven roosters of the Spanish fighting breed of various ages, six of them in good health and the seventh was found plucked and with crest and beard mutilations, in addition to missing the left eye, birds that were not identified, so the local police will continue the investigations to locate the property before the possibility that it could have incurred in a crime of animal abuse, being transferred and deposited in the Municipal Zoosanitary Center like rental animals abandoned on the public highway.
Vehicle controls and security
On the other hand, both agents of the Northern District Headquarters and the GOA of the Malaga Local Police carried out various security controls. In terms of traffic, the agents denounced 60 vehicles that had not passed the ITV, another 30 for lacking mandatory insurance and a motorhome parked on the public road, with 3 vehicles being immobilized or withdrawn to the municipal depot. In addition, local policemen drew up 12 records of abandoned vehicles.
On the other hand, a total of 7 reports of complaint for occupation of public roads were drawn up and 4 abandoned objects were removed. As far as security is concerned, some 40 people were identified and a preventive security search was carried out on 11 of them.
Cleaning of the area and removal of materials and facilities
Likewise, LIMASAM cleaned the streets of the entire neighborhood, removing some 22,000 kilograms of garbage. Similarly, Servicios Operativos removed some 15,000 kilograms of material of all kinds. Among the actions carried out in this regard, some 40 square meters of facilities dedicated to the breeding of fighting cocks were dismantled in the Guadalete riverbed.
