Dorian Jiménez, head of the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) at Headquarters, reported that First, second and third level health establishments have been instructed to offer anticovid vaccination to the population.

“Efforts must be redoubled to reach the largest number of people immunized against the coronavirus“, Jiménez said in time to clarify that for this Saturday there are 16 vaccination points in the urban area.

Likewise, urged parents and guardians of minors to take the boys to immunize them. “The 24-hour health centers have conditioned environments to serve the population”

It should be remembered that only 37% of children aged 5 to 11 have applied two of the three doses of the complete vaccination schedule.

“Immunity is only achieved with three doses, not two. Therefore, we call on the general population to go to the mobile vaccination centers and brigades,” Jiménez said.
