They install cameras on the city’s bus routes

Starting this Monday, drivers who park their cars illegally or block bus stops will receive warning notices for a period of 60 days.

Here is a list of the bus routes that camera monitoring will begin this Monday:

• B82, B26
• Q53, Q69, Q5
• M86, M79, M60
• Bx26, Bx6

The MTA announced the implementation of the law in June to help increase the speed of buses and make them safer and more accessible for riders.

After warning notices, fines start at $50 and then increase to $250 for repeat offenders.
