ZACATECAS. The Government of Zacatecas, through the Ministry of Health (SSZ), implemented the Extraordinary Vaccination Strategy against COVID-19 in order to ensure coverage for the entire population of Zacatecas.
From April 11 to 30, 55,000 doses of the biological AstraZeneca will be distributed to all health centers and community hospitals that the unit has throughout the state territory.
Health is one of the fundamental axes for the Government headed by David Monreal Ávila, which is why it seeks to ensure this right to the entire population and promote their well-being.
The biological will be available to the population over 18 years of age and pregnant women from the ninth week of pregnancy.
The application of the vaccine will be carried out in the following cases: first dose; second dose (four months after the first) and booster dose (four months after the last dose).
To obtain the vaccine, it is necessary to present yourself at your nearest health unit with an official identification that contains the Unique Population Registry Code (CURP).
The SSZ invites the entire population to complete their vaccination schedule, which helps avoid severe complications in case of COVID-19 infection, and also avoids hospital saturation.
