Imagined by two designers, the Tesla Model C motorcycle is halfway between the two-wheeler and the car.
If Elon Musk seems firmly opposed to the launch of a Tesla electric motorcycle, that does not prevent some designers from heating up Photoshop to imagine what the future model of the Californian brand could look like. While Californian designer James Gawley presented his vision of a Tesla Model M in 2019, Youtubeur Casey Neistat went much further by going as far as designing an electric motorcycle using the angular lines of the Tesla Cybertruck.
Called Tesla Model C, the latest concept was imagined by Drake Nolte and Jack Donald Morris, two designers working at Kiska, a design office that works with KTM and Husqvarna in particular.
A Tesla motorcycle half two-wheeler, half-car
Sharp with the lines of a classic motorcycle, the machine imagined by the two designers sports a hybrid design. If the philosophy remains that of a two-wheeler, the place of the pilot has been completely rethought. Put aside, the saddle has been replaced by a seat on which the driver sits as in a car.
If the characteristics and performance have not been specified, we can imagine the integration of a gyroscopic system allowing the machine to easily maintain its balance. We also note the absence of traditional tachometers. The information is projected onto the visor of the helmet.
On the engine side, we can clearly see a large engine directly integrated into the rear wheel. An astonishing choice, the system not being considered as the most efficient in the field of two-wheelers.
Of course, this Tesla Model C is only a vision for now. But perhaps he could inspire the manufacturer if he decided (finally) to invest in the electric two-wheeler segment.
