To honor the wishes of the caring and generous person that was Margarita, her family agreed to give others the chance to continue living through the miracle of organ donation.

Margarita helped save three lives by donating her four organs and gave two people sight by donating their corneas.

The Consulate of Mexico in Orlando held a celebration honoring Maggie’s life and legacy with her family and Our heritage.

“We have the instruction from Foreign Secretary Ebrard to recognize every person who is in the United States as a part of our nation, that every Mexican and every Mexican continues to be a part of Mexico, and through the consular protection area we fulfill that duty , to assist families who find themselves in an emergency like that of Margarita, supporting them at all times and with humane treatment”, said Consul Sabines during the memorial ceremony.
