They hold a ham cutting contest to benefit AMAC

The city of Albacete hosts the first ham cutting contest for amateurs to benefit the Association of Women Affected by Breast and Gynecological Cancer of Albacete (AMAC), which will take place from six in the afternoon tomorrow, Friday, in the square located next to the door of the Museum of Cutlery.

The City Councilor for Promotion, Modesto Belinchón, and the president of AMAC, Llanos Sánchez, presented the event, noting that the purpose of the contest is merely “charitable.”

Sergio Briones, Ángel Fernández, Luis Picazo, José Luis Valiente, Damaris Sánchez and José Manuel de Moya will be the ham cutters who will participate in the contest and attendees will be able to taste the ham accompanied by a drink for three euros, money that will go to AMAC.
