NEW YORK – Authorities are searching for a suspect in the robbery and beating of a 13-year-old boy inside a Brooklyn subway station.
According to the authorities’ report, the incident occurred on Friday, September 3, around 5:30 pm, at the metro station of 18th Avenue.
The alleged thief approached the 13-year-old, who was waiting for the F line train, and asked if he could use his iPhone to make a call, police said.
When the victim asked for the phone back, the suspect refused and hit him several times in the face before fleeing, the Uniformed added.
The paramedics transported the minor to a hospital in the area in stable condition, but with cuts on his lips and blood from his nose.
