The free visual health campaign that is carried out in the town of Sierra Grande, articulated with the YPF Foundation and the Jorge Malbran Argentina Ophthalmological Foundation (FOA) and the ministries of Health and Education of the province of Río Negro, aimed at improving visual health of 1,300 boys and girls from primary schools in Sierra Grande and nearby rural areas, includes the free delivery of glasses to those boys and girls who need them. It is also contemplated, in cases of pathologies of greater complexity, their referral to the corresponding specialists within the provincial health system. Participating in the opening day were Juan Pablo Muena, Minister of Human Development of the province, the Mayor of Sierra Grande, Roxana Fernández, and the Executive Director of the YPF Foundation, Gustavo Schiappacasse. Actions like this, allow the early detection of ophthalmological problems and provide effective solutions, deserve the recognition of this Legislature for their positive impact on the community and it is in this sense that Legislators Luis Noale, Marcela Rossio and Aimé Kircher Castañarez express their “approval.” to the Provincial Executive Branch, Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education, for the free visual health campaign carried out in the town of Sierra Grande, in coordination with the YPF Foundation and the Jorge Malbran Argentina Ophthalmological Foundation (FOA), aimed at the attention of boys and girls from primary schools in Sierra Grande and nearby rural areas, which took place from October 1 to 3.”
