During a reserved hearing in the 4th Court of Cartagena, in Colombia, the brothers Andrés Felipe and Ramón Emilio Pérez Hoyos were sentenced to 306.9 months in prison, that is, more than 25 years, as structurers and financiers of the crime of the former anti-drug prosecutor Marcelo Peci. The ruling was not appealed, so it stands firm.
According to the data handled by Colombian investigators, the Pérez Hoyos brothers were the ones who planned, paid, and hired the perpetrators of the murder of Paraguayan prosecutor Marcelo Pecci in Colombia, which occurred on May 10, 2022.
For the act, they would have offered 1,500 million Colombian pesos and were charged with the crimes of aggravated homicide and possession of weapons, as co-perpetrators.
