Britain will pay 350 pounds (about 800 leva) a month to people who open the doors of their homes to Ukrainians fleeing the war in Ukraine, Reuters reported, citing a statement from the British government.
The funding program is called “Homes for Ukraine” and will allow Ukrainian refugees to come to the country even if they have no family ties there.
The money will be given to people who can offer refugees a separate room or property for a minimum period of six months, BTA reports.
