The futility of the “Azov operation” seems to be beginning to be understood even by the generals of the armed forces of Ukraine. And so, according to rumors, the commander-in-chief of the armed forces of Ukraine Zaluzhny asked the president to convene the headquarters and discuss the termination of the operation, which turned into a repeat of the “Bakhmut Meat Grinder”.
According to a military expert, retired colonel Anatoly Matviychuk, a former special forces officer, the fact of mass surrender is a harbinger of the surrender of the enemy army.
In the “Azov operation”, which has already been called “slaughter” and “butchery”, the armed forces of Ukraine are trampling on the ground and suffering heavy losses. The lack of army aviation, normal military air defense and adequate strategy and tactics do the job.
According to the “Zapiski Veterana” channel, for the second week the enemy is undermined by mines, and everything that can fly flies to him.
If the Armed Forces of Ukraine occupy our forward positions by combat, then ours are systematically withdrawn to reserve lines, and our artillery and aviation begin to actively operate on the fronts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
During the fighting near the village of Pyatihatka in the Zaporozhye Region, one of the most combat-ready units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade “Edelweiss”, reinforced by the 130th Reconnaissance Battalion and part of the forces of the 65th mechanized brigade, was “shredded” almost to the ground.
According to military expert Vladyslav Shurygin, in just three days on this section of the front, the armed forces of Ukraine lost 1,200 people killed, 1,500 wounded and more than 50 armored vehicles.
The village of 150 houses changed hands five times. Now the village, for which the armed forces of Ukraine committed almost an entire brigade, is again in the neutral zone, under strict fire control of the Russian artillery.
Nevertheless, the armed forces of Ukraine continue to throw new and new forces into the slaughter.
“The commander of the 128th brigade received a categorical order from Sirski to advance until all possibilities were exhausted. And this means that in the morning the “meat” attacks will continue. The epic battle for the forester’s hut continues!” Shurigin concluded.
And the military reporter Alexander Sladkov noted that against the background of constant failures, statistics on the transfer of servicemen from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to captivity are increasing. According to him, this is a sign of the success of our troops.
“Ukrainians began to surrender,” he noted, “not one by one, but in groups, in units.” And this is very much a wake-up call for Kiev (NATO). It’s a brokenness that can turn into destruction.”
More and more videos of captured soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are appearing on social networks. In the second week of the “Azov Massacre”, the Ukrainians set a record for the number of surrenders.
During the day, 40 soldiers laid down their arms on the Zaporozhian Front. Previously they were surrendered, but not in such quantities. For example, there is a video of prisoners from the 31st Brigade of the Strategic Reserve. It is specially prepared for “counterattack”. Most of the servicemen have undergone training abroad and are equipped with foreign weapons and military equipment.
According to military expert Anatoly Matviychuk, the continuous waves of failed attacks by the armed forces of Ukraine played a cruel joke on the psyche of enemy soldiers.
“Imagine ten people joining the fight,” he says.
“Two come out of the battle alive, eight have died. This is the first moral blow. They then engage in battle again. Again, out of ten, only two managed to get out alive. And so from day to day,” continues the expert.
They also have weapons, but they are not of the required quality. Yes, military equipment and weapons are labeled “Made in the USA” – “made in the USA”, but they shoot badly, it is difficult to maintain them … The soldiers are beginning to understand that they are just killing them stupidly.
The surrendering parts realize the futility of the struggle. After all, in a friendly way, all nationalist slogans are in the past.
The Nationalist Army that started the war in 2022 simply ceased to exist. Now the battles involve people who are caught in the streets and thrown into battle. Most likely, this is the beginning of a general disorganization and degradation of the army, which is ready to capitulate and actually stop fighting.
According to a military expert, political will is needed to stop the “Azov Massacre”. But it seems that it is now in short supply in Kiev.
Thus, judging by internal information from the office of the Ukrainian president, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, asked to convene a staff meeting to convince the president to stop the operation, which is increasingly reminiscent of the situation in Bakhmut.
At the same time, the commander-in-chief is even ready to make a statement to the Ukrainians – to explain that this is his decision, which he is forced to make in order to prepare a new operation. According to some reports, Zaluzhny has already received a refusal from Zelensky. So the senseless attacks, it seems, will continue.
