This Tuesday the deputy Camilo Morán (RN) made a request to the Ethics commission of the Chamber of Deputies and Deputies to rule on the episode starring deputy Hugo Gutiérrez (PC) when he was controlled in Iquique by the Navy.
Morán gathered the signatures and together with the head of the National Renovation bench, Sebastián Torrealba, entered the request.
In his opinion, The Ethics Commission must rule on this case that, remember, dates back to this Sunday, when the footage of Gutiérrez being controlled by the Navy went viral.
Morán indicated that this fact is unacceptable and that it should be investigated because nothing should be above the Law.
Consulted about the viralized video and what this would belong to a body camera of a cash, he did not want to refer to the subject.
The text presented indicates that “parliamentary ethics has been seriously violated from the moment in which information is denied to an authority legally empowered to do so, alluding to prerogatives that are not possessed, distorting the parliamentary statute in a way that is far from the good faith that must guide our actions ”.
“No parliamentarian can claim benefit or privilege that the law does not recognizeTherefore, Mr. Deputy Hugo Gutiérrez with his behavior damages not only the parliamentary work, but above all else the prestige of this Corporation ”, the document details.
