They find traces of blood in the house of the missing taxi driver in Gran Canaria
The Civil Guard has found traces of blood in the house of taxi driver José Delgado, who has been missing since December 8.
Last week, the house of the woman, his son and his brother was searched.
Likewise, the worthy woman inspected with excavators a land located next to the brother-in-law’s house, a hillside in front of the couple’s house and the section of the Teror ravine located under the new bridge without result.
The Criminalistics Laboratory of the Civil Guard is now analyzing those remains of blood found in the family home.
The Arucas judge in charge of the investigations has charged Delgado’s wife, her stepson, her brother-in-law and her mother-in-law with a crime of homicide. All four are free on charges.
The judge considers that there are “rational indications” of the commission of a homicide crime by the four investigated given the “plague of contradictions” that they have given in their statements.
His wife assured that he had been with Delgado the day before the disappearance and that both had gone to make some representations to the Teror town hall, but the image of the man does not appear on the security cameras that have been reviewed by the Guard’s investigators Civil.
In no document does it state that Delgado passed by that day.
In addition, his mobile phone stopped giving a signal on the outskirts of town two days before the report of disappearance and he was lost. Later, during confinement due to the coronavirus pandemic, the woman reported that they had found him while cleaning the house and handed him over to the Civil Guard.
Another detail that has surprised the investigators occurred when they went to the family home to perform the first visual inspection. Just four days after the event, the family explained that they had already disposed of the clothes of the missing person.
