They find remains of the famous model kidnapped in Cajeme

MEXICO CITY.

A group of female trackers located graves with six human remains, among the victims through a DNA test, the Attorney General’s Office in Sonora identified the body of Yessenia Estefanía, a famous model from Ciudad Obregón, reported as missing since Wednesday 19 of August when a group of subjects ‘lifted’ her by force in the municipality of Cajeme.

Relatives of the victim confirmed that the remains of 24-year-old Yessenia Estefanía Alvarado Ribera were found last Sunday, September 20, in a property located on the banks of Canal Bajo, on Meridiano Street, between 300 and 400, where the Agency Ministerial of Criminal Investigation reported the discovery of six human remains, two women, three men and one more whose sex has not been determined so far.

“It was in a property located in the lower canal, to the south of the city, on a piece of land with an approximate average of 29 meters wide by 15 meters long where the inspection was carried out, and 6 skeletons were located; Experts and the forensic archaeologist present, exprofeso, were able to identify that it is about 2 female skeletons, 3 male and one more that will require analysis in the CIF laboratory, for the determination of sex ”, reported the FGJE.

As a result of the autopsies carried out by experts from the Forensic Intelligence Scientific Laboratory, the Ministerial Agency managed to identify the lifeless body of Yessenia Estefanía, who was picked up by at least four hooded men who forced her into a pick-up truck of recent model, when the young woman walked through the Aves del Castillo neighborhood.

The Attorney General’s Office in Sonora reported that same Sunday, September 20, that derived from the discovery of this clandestine grave, the agents executed an arrest warrant and a judge issued preventive detention for three suspects for their probable responsibility in these events, which generates hope that the crime could be solved.
