NEW YORK – Authorities are investigating the discovery of a lifeless woman in a subway in Manhattan, the New York City Police announced.
According to the police report, the events occurred on Sunday, around 1:35 am, when authorities responded to a call to 9-1-1 to help a person who was on the L train heading south in the 14th Street Station and 8th Avenue in Manhattan.
Upon arrival, the report says, officers found an unconscious woman at the scene.
Paramedics declared her dead at the time.
A coroner will determine the cause of death for the woman.
Her identity is unknown and no further details were released.
