It will be an upper mid-range with up to 12GB of RAM
The sub-brand of Xiaomi, redmiwill soon launch new Redmi K series phones, which will consist of three models: Redmi K60, K60 Pro and K60E. Specs of the latest model have been leaked on Geekbench, where it revealed that it will be a tough contender in the high-end segment.
The Redmi K60E appears in the benchmarking tool with the code Xiaomi 22127RK46C and shows that it will be powered by the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 Octa-core 3.2GHz and an Adreno 650 GPU.
The processor will be accompanied by 12GB of RAM, although Redmi could launch a less powerful version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. As an operating system, the device runs Android 12, but it is likely that it will guarantee the update to Android 13, although it will not be soon, which will undoubtedly disappoint users.
Geekbench reveals that the Redmi K60E scored 961 points in the single-core test and 3,123 in the multi-core test, thus positioning this device among the most notable within the upper mid-range.
There is no information on the specifications of the new Redmi, but since it has already passed multiple certifications, it is possible that in the coming weeks we will have more details on the official presentation date, as well as on price and availability.
