They filter an intimate image in the Twitter account of the Government of Valle – Cali – Colombia

This Sunday night Twitter users were surprised with a series of strange tweets published by the official account of the Governorate of Valle del Cauca. Among the messages was the image of the intimate parts of a woman, an embarrassing situation in the midst of the acts of violence that have been experienced in recent days in the region.

The publications were made from Palmira from 09:45 pm and, in addition, several tweets with random numbers were published. Of course, the trills were erased once the Government realized what had happened.

Faced with this unusual situation, this Monday the Government made a statement through the same network clarifying the facts and apologizing for the inconvenience caused to Internet users.

“The Government of Valle del Cauca informs that on March 28, 2021 around 9:45 p.m., its official Twitter account suffered a security breach and was hacked. Immediately, the security protocols were activated, recovering the domain name of your account”explained the institution.

Once the security protocols the Government informed the office in charge of computer crimes of the National Police, who are carrying out the corresponding investigation.

Finally, the Government apologized for what happened and awaits the results of the police investigation.

“We apologize to all those who may have been affected by this atypical situation beyond our control”, concluded the entity.
