The national vaccination campaign against measles, rubella, mumps and polio will be extended to the whole country for another four weeks and will not end on November 13 as planned.

The decision was agreed this Friday, in a meeting between the health authorities of all the provinces, within the Federal Health Council (Cofesa).

According to the data presented at the meeting, up to this Friday, November 11, only 53.5% of minors were immunized throughout the country and 1,079,824 doses remain to be applied. In the case of Misiones, 65.8% of the children were vaccinated.

It should be remembered that measles, rubella and poliomyelitis are eradicated diseases in Argentina. This means that they no longer circulate in our country. However, they still cause outbreaks in other parts of the world.
