Yesterday, the Principality communicated to the Langreo City Council that it was proceeding to extend by two hours, in the morning, the hours in which it will be possible to use the La Nueva highway. A reaction to the discontent of the residents of this Langrea valley who, after 38 days accessing roads in poor condition, saw the six hours proposed last Friday as insufficient.
Said highway, the LA-7, was cut off in December due to the landslide of the well-known mining dump of Pampiedra. Now the Vice-Ministry of Infrastructure will allow transit through it from 7:30 to 10:00 in the morning, advancing its opening half an hour, which until now was at 8:00 in the morning. The most notable change, in which an hour and a half has been gained, is in the central hours, which was from two to four in the afternoon, and since yesterday it has gone from 12:30 to four in the afternoon. In the afternoon, the road is open for two hours from half past six to half past eight.
