Tomorrow, the application of the booster vaccine for minors will be available for the group of 12 and up to 17 years old, with some condition or risk factor, thus extending the range established until this Tuesday, whose maximum age it was 14 years old.
The Ministry of Welfare, informed that in this way, the day of 12 to 17 years this Wednesday, continues from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the same point.
The requirement for this vaccine is to be of the aforementioned age, and to have completed the vaccination schedule (two doses) with the biological Pfizer.
It will be applied according to the initial of the first surname, from “M” to “Q” from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., from “R” to “V” from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., from “W” to “Z” from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
It is worth mentioning that Chihuahua is the first state in the country that applies the booster dose to the population aged 12 to 14 with some risk factor, which is expanded to provide greater coverage,
The Ministry of Welfare recalled that in the group of 12 to 14 years old, 6,597 girls and boys were vaccinated with first doses on October 18, 2021, and 5,135 second doses, by November 22, 2021.
The requirement for the booster vaccine is to have previously completed the vaccination schedule (two doses) with the biological Pfizer.
It is recalled that the vaccination point will be the Regional Military Hospital of the capital and the requirements are proof of vaccination of the second dose, registration format, downloadable at mivacuna.salud.gob.mx, clinical summary or paperwork that proves your condition, and be within the age of 12 to 17 years.
