This Wednesday, the National Immigration Service carried out the expulsion of 30 foreigners who had a record for various crimes. The execution of this measure was carried out in compliance with judicial orders issued by the courts.

In Group 10 of the FACh, 26 expelled people were initially approached, who were under the escort of PDI personnel. Subsequently, the flight made a stopover at the Iquique airport, where four more people and their respective escorts joined.

According to the information provided, 27 of the expelled people are Colombian nationals, while three are Haitian nationals. All of them were serving sentences of less than five years and one day for various crimes, such as robbery with violence, robbery with intimidation, frustrated homicide and drug trafficking, among others.

Within the group of expelled people, cases stand out such as that of a woman detained in Colchane trying to enter the country with 11 kilos of marijuana hidden in bicycle parts. Likewise, another person was reported detained in Quinta Normal for shooting at least four times at her victim, causing serious injuries.

Two of those expelled were arrested in Iquique for robbery with violence, after assaulting and attacking two people, stealing their cell phones and other belongings in the criminal act.
