MADRID, Jan 7 (CulturaOcio) –
This Tuesday Warner Bros. announced that the producer Walter Hamada extended his contract as director of DC Films until 2023. Something that did not sit well with Ray Fisher, actor who gives life to Cyborg in Justice League and that just a few days ago he announced that I would not work on any production associated with Hamada again. And as a result, his role has been removed from Andy Muschietti’s solo film The Flash.
As reported by The Wrap, Cyborg’s presence in The Flash has been removed from the script, and Ray Fisher will be replaced by another actor. Everything comes as a result of the harsh criticism of the interpreter to Joss Whedon for his attitude during the filming of Justice League, whom he accused of racist attitudes and behavior. In his complaint, the actor also pointed to the directors of Warner and DC, who allowed his behavior.
“Walter Hamada is the most dangerous type of consenting. His lies and the failed Warner Bros. investigation sought to undermine the very real problems of Justice League. I will not participate in any production associated with him“Fisher wrote on Twitter just a few days ago.
Walter Hamada is the most dangerous kind of enabler.
His lies, and WB PR’s failed Sept 4th hit-piece, sought to undermine the very real issues of the Justice League investigation.
I will not participate in any production associated with him.

After the announcement of the extension of Hamada’s contract, the actor returned to the social network to write another harsh criticism of the director of DC: “It is strange how these reactionary announcements from Warner Bros. they always forget to mention that Walter Hamada was working directly with Geoff Johns and Tobby Emmerich (on Shazam) during the Justice League reshoots“, wrote.
It’s weird how these reactionary announcements from @wbpictures always forget to mention that Walter Hamada was working directly with Geoff Johns and Toby Emmerich (on Shazam) DURING Justice League reshoots…
More soon.

The future of Fisher as Cyborg in the DCEU has been in doubt for months, ever since he charged Whedon for his abusive behavior in Justice League reshoots, in turn accusing producers Geoff Johns and Jon Berg of allowing such an attitude.
“What burned me inside and forced me to talk about Joss Whedon this summer was that I was informed that Joss had ordered a colored actor’s complexion changed in post-production because he didn’t like the color of his skin“Fisher told Forbes a few months ago.
“Before the Justice League reshoots, blatantly racist conversations were held on multiple occasions between former and current senior executives at Warner Bros. Pictures,” he revealed. “Among those who made decisions and participated in those racist conversations were Geoff Johns, Jon Berg and the current president of Warner Bros. Pictures Group, Toby EmmerichFisher said.
Although Warner began an investigation following his comments, that concluded in December, announced that it would take “corrective measures”. Which, so far, only include the elimination of his character in The Flash.
