According to a well-known leak, Samsung has not switched to a screen-mounted self-contained camera in the Galaxy S22 series.

Not surprisingly, there are already enough rumors about Samsung Galaxy S22 mobiles, even though they will only be introduced next year. Many people are wondering if they are already switching to an under-screen self-timer camera. After all, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 already has such a unit.
The always well-informed Ice Universe so informed from industry sources that the sleek Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 will get refurbished back-panel cameras with a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel, true 3x zoom camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide module. However, the self-timer camera remains drilled, the same 10-megapixel unit we’re used to.
And the Galaxy S22 Ultra is said to inherit the camera system of its predecessor, but with a more advanced, continuous zoom function, larger sensors and a resolution of 12 megapixels. The self-timer cameras below the screen still don’t bring a standard that holds its place in the top category.
