/ world today news/ A group of Italian archaeologists found tombs more than 3000 years old in the Valley of the Kings in the Egyptian city of Luxor. The discovery was made during excavations under the site of the burial temple of Amenhotep II, who ruled from 1427 to 1401 BC, which has not been preserved to this day.
Remains of wooden sarcophagi and human bones were found in the tombs, as well as special vessels used to store the internal organs, decorated with the images of the four sons of the ancient Egyptian god Horus.
