Results of the study
According to the analysis of the images studied here in the earth, This gelatinous-looking substance is melted rock, probably from the heat of a meteorite impact.

According to the same analysis, the regolith would be mainly composed of plagioclase (about 45%), pyroxene (7%) and olivine (6%), abundant materials on the moon.
Meanwhile, the glassy substance that is also seen in the photograph was more difficult to analyze, being able to distinguish only plagioclase, in approximately 38%.
This is not very different from the regolith that surrounds it, so the researchers suggest that the composition of both is similar. As for the measurements, the scientists determined that it measures approximately 52 by 16 centimeters.
