The most beloved series in the last 30 years of television has returned to the news due to a patch failure that had not been discovered until now. The culprit of everything is Phoebe.
If you are one of those people who have seen Friends about 80 times over the past decade and have never noticed this failure. Relax, because the same has happened to us and in 2021 we have already seen it… a few times.
Thanks to Twitter, we discovered that in a specific chapter of the series hthere is a character who is in two places at the same time and it is not a game.
We are specifically talking about the first chapter of the series. As you will recall, this is where Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) appears dressed in wedding dress in Central Perk, thus starting the whole Friends argument.

The mismatch failure or continuity error occurs a few scenes later, when the characters go to Mónica’s for coffee.. This is where, with almost all of the characters standing, Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) makes a joke and when everyone laughs and changes planes, she reappears on the couch.
This failure, several tweeters say, was not seen in the original broadcast due to the television formats of the time, but now, with all the changes, it has reappeared to be something obvious.
These are the best Netflix mini-series to watch in one sitting this weekend, chapter after chapter. Crimes, dramas, comedies and documentaries.
If you notice, Phoebe is standing with a coffee and just in the next shot she’s sitting a few feet away on the couch with the same coffee. And, from what we know from the show, this character doesn’t have any magical powers.
This small failure does not invalidate the quality of the series (I am not talking about this Lego either) nor does it destroy the 10 years of work of the Friends team, it is just a curious anecdote that took 26 years to be discovered.
