They called from a village in Pleven region
Two men have been detained for the bomb call in the “Paradise” mall in Sofia, the Ministry of the Interior announced. They called from the Pleven region and confessed.
The signal was received around 19:15 on the emergency phone number 112. A male voice said that he had planted a bomb. Therefore, the employees and visitors were evacuated. At the moment, nothing worrisome has been discovered, the Ministry of the Interior said.
In the meantime, an organization has been established to clarify the case and identify the sender of the malicious signal. After the mobile phone, from which the call was made, was located on the territory of the Pleven village, the officers of the ODMVR – Pleven detained two men. They confessed to the act. With a police warrant, they will remain in custody for up to 24 hours. A mobile device and a SIM card were seized. Work on the case continues, the department added.
