The man who severely beat a medic from the emergency center in Vratsa has been arrested, the police announced. Kiril Petrov, who was hospitalized after the beating in the surgical department of the Vratsa hospital, told the investigators that a man living in his neighborhood attacked him while he was coming home after his shift saying “Are you the one who poisons the dogs”.
The assailant of the medical assistant was discovered after police reviewed footage from cameras in the area. It is yet to be established the true motives behind the beating of the medic and whether the attack is related to his work, as he suspects.
