The driver who ran over a dog with his jeep in the village of Malo Konare in Pazardzhik on Christmas Eve has been detained. The brutality caused a serious response on social networks and entered the news programs.
The quick reaction of the Ministry of Interior and the immediate actions of a team from the Criminal Police led to the detention for 24 hours of a 52-year-old man from Pazardzhik, who was driving the car that ran over the dog Roska, BNT reports.
It became clear about the incident from a video recording from a security camera of a house in the village of Malo Konare. The injured dog was taken by citizens in serious condition to a veterinary clinic and left for treatment. There are fractures in 5 places around the spine and internal bleeding in the stomach.
A case was opened in the case, which was reported to the Pazardzhik District Prosecutor’s Office.
Environmentalists are already preparing a protest on December 29, demanding a fair punishment for the cruelty of the driver of the jeep.
