The Burgas Police Department received a report from the Burgas Police Station about a “Mercedes Vito” car with Sofia registration, which did not stop at a stop sign signal at the Poda checkpoint in the direction of Burgas.

The “Mercedes” was detected in the area of ​​the Trapezitsa road junction, and after entering a dead end street in Bratya Miladinovi district to bl. 47, was established by the police officers.

The driver and passengers were detained, and it was established that the Mercedes was driven by a 28-year-old Afghan citizen.

A total of 28 illegal migrants were traveling in the car, of which 12 men, 7 women and 9 children of different ages.

Two of the women were visibly pregnant and were examined by a CSMP team and taken to UMBAL-Burgas, where they were placed in the Pathology department.

A child was accommodated with them – the daughter of one of the pregnant women.

In this case, pre-trial proceedings have been instituted according to the inventory of the Second RU.
