They destroy an arsenal

The Secretariat of National Defense destroyed 135 firearms, as well as cartridges and ammunition, secured by security corporations in the state.
The official ceremony held at the local Military Field was headed by the Chief of Staff of the XIV Military Zone, Iván Alfredo Ramírez Chávez, who reported that the following were destroyed:

· 8,518 cartridges
· 248 chargers
· 320 warheads
· 333 helmets of different calibers
· 1 telescopic sight
· 1 funda
· 1 racing car
· 1 grenade launcher attachment

He highlighted that this arsenal was secured through a joint effort between society and the authorities of the three levels of government.
To carry out this act, the Systematic Operation Procedure for the Control, Destruction and Lawful Use of Seized Firearms was implemented.
The military personnel equipped with specialized material proceeded with the mechanism so that the firearms were inspected, disorganized and cut, giving certainty and confidence to society that the weaponry completely lost the characteristics and particularities of its operation, when it was sectioned into multiple parts. using a metal cutter.
With the presence of the State Attorney General’s Office, the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic, and the Secretariat of Public Security, it was reiterated that the Mexican Army and the National Guard implement public policies aimed at preventing and reducing risk factors, as well as keeping away the population from illicit activities.
