A video published on social networks has sparked outrage among Bogota residents and regional authorities. In the images you can see a man violently attacking a woman, in the Comprehensive Protection Unit of La Rioja (UPI), a shelter that houses members of the Embera community in the capital city.

In the short clip the man is seen screaming and hitting the woman several times. At the beginning of the video, when the woman is on the ground, the attacker kicks her and hits her hard on the head, while a child, who sees the attack, continues playing on the phone. The brutality of the scene has created a wave of anger and rejection among citizens.
