Monterrey, NL, January 11.- The State Secretary of Health, Alma Rosa Marroquín Escamilla, warned that they will proceed with sanctions and conducive measures against establishments and doctors who in private clinics apply vaccines against covid-19, since it is an action outside the law, in addition to giving those who receive the dose a false security of protection against the disease caused by the virus SARS-CoV-2.
“We have had calls from various people who went to private doctors to apply the vaccine,” said Dr. Marroquín and pointed out that, regardless of the fact that this is a totally illegal issue, the process of transferring the vaccine and its preservation is also very important. of the cold network so that the stability of the biological is guaranteed so that at the moment of application it can generate an antibody formation response in the patient.
“And that is not guaranteed when the transfer is done inappropriately”, therefore, he agreed, “. we will also be, as we are doing with the establishments, also looking for, sanctioning and applying the conducive measures with the doctors who are carrying out these interventions that are totally outside the legal framework ”.
He pointed out that these types of actions are putting the population at risk, by generating a false security of protection against covid-19, “With a vaccine that is surely not generating an immune response.”
It is worth mentioning that in February 2021, the then head of Health of Nuevo León, Manuel de la O Cavazos, denounced that in a clinic in San Nicolás de los Garza false vaccines were applied at more than eleven thousand pesos per dose and in some cases up to 25 thousand pesos, before which with police support the establishment was closed and the incident was reported to the Attorney General of the Republic and Cofepris.
