The journalist Lázaro Yuri Valle Roca’s health is getting worse while he remains kidnapped in prison, and this was corroborated by his wife, Eralidis Frómeta, who visited him this Monday.
According to a complaint from the Cuba de Luto movement (creator in favor of political prisoners) the independent reporter would be in critical condition and with an increasingly severe vision problem, to the point of going blind.
“The opposition member, Eralidis Frómeta, has just visited her wife, the political prisoner and independent journalist Lázaro Yuri Valle Roca, in prison, and denounces his critical state of health and that he is going blind”the organization said on Twitter.

In a publication of FacebookFrómeta herself blamed the cruel Castro dictatorship for what happens to her husband, and that they will have to “put fire on him” if something bad happens to the opponent.
“I only say to the bloody dictatorship that if something happens to my husband, from the moment he takes any position, they will have to fire me up like Macao out here on the street. You know dictators, you have been warned. His mismanagement, his lack of citizen protection. Violations of due process. They bring consequences and we will continue to face them, but so will you, bunch of murderers.”sentenced Frómeta.
In recent days, there have been several warnings that have emerged from Combinado del Este regarding the health of Lázaro Yuri Valle Roca, but as usual, the regime and its henchmen care little or nothing.
After being arrested while covering a demonstration in Havana in 2021, he was sentenced to five years in prison. Since his kidnapping, he has remained in Combinado del Este, facing mistreatment and serious illness.
