The Molina de Segura City Council is delivering books and games to the educational centers of the municipality, within the campaign ‘Educating in Equality 2021’. The Councilor for Gender Equality and Violence, María Montserrat Montanos Villegas, and the Councilor for Education, Isabel Gadea Martínez, have attended the delivery of one of these lots to the CEIP Gregorio Miñano.

Montanos stressed that “it is essential to educate in respect and good treatment. Through play and reading, students will enjoy while learning. We need a just and equal society where women and men have the same opportunities. The coronavirus has deprived us of being able to give continuity to the ‘Educating in Equality’ workshops, which are received by 6th grade Primary Education students in the educational centers of Molina de Segura, but we have different options to continue working through education for promote the participation of women and girls in all areas of society.
