A court will announce tomorrow the verdict in the trial for the homicide and disappearance of the lawyer Salvador Altamura (48), which occurred in July 2020 in the Buenos Aires district of Quilmes and for which the victim’s best friend, who is accused, is He faces two requests for life imprisonment and, in his last words, he reiterated that he is “innocent,” judicial sources reported.

According to sources, the verdict will be announced at 2 p.m. in the Quilmes courts, located on Hipólito Yrigoyen Avenue 475, by judges Rubén Darío Hernández, Alejandro Oscar Portunato and Julián Busteros, members of the Oral Criminal Court 3.

During the debate, the accused agreed to testify and tried to link the Altamura case with Chief Commissioner Francisco Centurión, detained for the disappearance of another young man named Lucas Escalante, who has been wanted since last December 9.
