Fertilizar launched its SUMA P Program and highlighted the importance of incorporating phosphorus into fertilization strategies. According to them, this nutrient is not only essential to increase crop yields, but also improves soil quality, allowing this essential resource to reach its maximum productive potential.
“Phosphorus (P) application is a cost-effective practice, the effectiveness of which has been supported by decades of research,” they stated. Awareness about the use of phosphorus is based on several fundamental aspects. In this sense, Fertilizar, an association that this year celebrates its 30th anniversary, highlights the essential functions of phosphorus in organisms, especially in plants, understanding nutrient dynamics in soilhow plants incorporate it, and detailing the ways in which it is used and assimilated.
